Everyday...in the USA...500 million guns do not commit crime or terrorism. Yet everyday in the USA criminals and terrorists do commit crime and terror with hands, clubs, knives, vehicles, bombs, and yes... guns. Most of these guns are not purchased in retail outlets...but over dark web, foreign governments with little control, or no record keeping , transported for financial profit over borders and amongst criminals of all nationalities. So exactly why would government legislation to try and form a registry of guns and their owners in the USA STOP CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR or make a real difference...GUNS ARE STILL BEING BUILT ILLEGALLY IN ALMOST EVERY NATION IN THE WORLD WITHOUT REGULATION OR SERIAL NUMBERS!! TO THINK OTHERWISE WOULD SHOW REAL LACK OF INTELLIGENCE...SO GUNS IN THE HANDS OF LEGALLY OWNED AND REGISTERED OWNERS VERY RARELY COMMIT CRIMES. If getting a gun with a serial number a criminal would CLEANSE that problem and just say he got it that way. The fact is that mankind for almost 200 years have produced guns at such a clip...THAT THERE IS REALLY NO RECORD OF ALL GUNS ON EARTH...and there is probably at least one gun on earth for every human. But of course it would be really nifty to have that record to check and see if a registered republican or democrat or liberal or socialist or unknown committed the crime. There needs to be a real check on buying new guns...the cat is out of the bag on the CURRENT 7 BILLION EXISTING GUNS ON EARTH...there is no way currently to stop illegal production and manufacture of guns. Liberal socialism versus conservative behavior. Liberal socialists are just not taught values that saved mankind in WW1-WW2. BUT THAT IS NOT THEIR FAULT. PARENTS SHOULD HAVE KEPT SOCIALISM FROM DUMBING THEM DOWN! The difference in reality for todays' generation is completely opposite...there is problem of growing up during wartime, depression, and nationalism. Then being brought up by parents that experienced the atrocities of those times...teaching their children to fear and fight to prevent the return of the hatred. And today...children being taught liberalism and socialism instead of older values of conservatism. Probably somewhere in the middle would work well...but that takes compromise and cooperation. Something not working in todays CONGRESS. VOTE ACCORDINGLY IN 2024.
