Quercetin is a zinc ionophore. ionphores allow transport of zinc into the cells. If you can get zinc into the cells of the pathogen, the pathogen cannot reproduce.     ‌That is correct, sir. However, if the honey is not locally produced, that is, bees there in your locality are making the honey, then it won't do much good for your allergies.
