Gov. Phil Murphy mandates teaching cursive writing in NJ schools as one of his last acts
New Jersey is flipping the script and ordering its public schools to bring back cursive writing starting next fall.

Showing my age. I was taught cursive in the second grade. Way back in the 50's.

MAFuryMid 60s for me. Unreal that the Constitution is in cursive and many can't read it. By design I think!

TexasJerryLeeAnd thank you for sharing! I agree that many people my age can't read it. And also, since you were taught cursive in the mid 60s, there is an electronic that existed back then that I'm interested in. And that is analog TV!

johndaviddeoliveira I have grandkids older than you. Oldest great grandkid is 14.

johndaviddeoliveira I don't miss analog TV one bit. Small screen and all. I have a 43" monitor next to the 32" monitor which is bigger than any analog TV I ever had. It was bad TV but evolving technology!
