So for those that sat in the back of the classroom, or didn't go at all, let me explain what this sign means. This means us truck drivers are paying $4.01 per gallon for diesel in OH, and higher elsewhere. On a average week, I purchase 260 gallons of diesel per week. At $4.01 per gallon that's $1,042.60 per week for fuel. Last year I paid $2.32 per gallon, or $603.20 per week. That means I'm loosing $439.40 per week or $1,757.60 per month, which is more then my $1,357.00 truck payment. So, a fuel surcharge has been implemented to help with my loss of income. The higher the fuel price, the higher the fuel surcharge will be. How does that effect you? Have you noticed the prices of everything going up? I know the same groceries we buy weekly is running us about $40 more per week now. The stores are not going to eat the loss of income. Their going to pass it on to you! Natural gas prices are raising drastically. Do you understand what's going to happen to your winter gas bill? You better find a way to save money however and wherever you can. Your going to see inflation like some of you have never saw in your lifetime!! So let me finish this with saying thank you to all of you that voted for Biden and helped to destroy this country. #pissedofamericantruckdriver
