#PutYourThinkingCapOn: Employment data for the month of September states the unemployment rate decreased.
But how can that be when the labor participation rate indicates that only 38% of people who are of working age have a job?
How can the unemployment rate legitimately be 4.8%? It can't. Low labor participation indicates there are a lot of people who do not have jobs, are not working, or are not seeking a job.
And a low labor participation rate leads to a substantial labor shortage. A labor shortage that could be the cause of a major supply chain disruption resulting in supply not being able to meet demand, which, in turn, drives prices through the roof.
Get a job, loser.
