Hollywood is so terrified of its own audience that it's now blocking comments and hiding responses on the most important trailers, because the "woke" remakes are literally being massacred.
The second trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is getting a real drubbing, with an "I don't like it" rating of 87% and hundreds of thousands of negative votes.
The official accounts immediately started blocking comments and hiding criticism.
This isn't a smart marketing strategy. It's panic. They know that the audience is rejecting the rewriting of Western classics with race swapping, and they don't want the results to be visible.
Hollywood continues to impose "modern" updates that ruin the original material, forcefully insert diversity quotas, and then act shocked when people turn their backs on them. Hiding comments just shows that they know the product is toxic.
If even a prestigious project with Nolan and a star-studded cast can't escape the backlash, it's clear that the era of "woke" blockbusters is hitting a wall. The audience is voting with their wallets and their "I don't like it" ratings.
The studios that treat fans as enemies to be silenced are only making the revolt even stronger.
