    ... I am given to understand that the only similarity between the modern B52 and the ones that flew back during my own childhood is the airframe. With all the updated weaponry and electronics, it's really not the same airplane.

    ‌ Your right. I loved going on base at Fairchild and seeing them lined up on the runway. Got a nice view from out front of the Main Fire Station. Now only seeing the KC 135's flying over head when I venture up there to shop at the commissary, BX and Class VI.
