Newsom whined: “𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘐𝘊𝘌 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯? 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦.” And then this young Latina voter nailed it: “𝘎𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯, 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘜.𝘚. 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦. 𝘐𝘊𝘌 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘦 — 𝘐’𝘮 𝘢 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘯. That’s it. If Democrats weren’t banking on illegal votes, they wouldn’t be terrified of voter ID. They wouldn’t freak out about ICE doing its job. And they wouldn’t twist themselves into knots to pretend that enforcing the law is somehow “chilling participation.”  ⁠  ⁠  ⁠ California is proof: 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬. Newsom just let the mask slip. Props to this young woman for saying what every honest American knows: if you’re a citizen, you’ve got nothing to fear from voter ID or ICE. Only cheaters and corrupt politicians do.
