DID IVERMECTIN WIN THE NOBEL PRIZE IN PHYSIOLOGY OR MEDICINE IN 2025? Yes, the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded to scientists for discoveries related to ivermectin. Specifically, William C. Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura shared half the prize “for their discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites,” which led to the development of ivermectin.
