Ahh… 😌…. There’s nothing like a bowl oh homemade clam potato corn chowder! I should open a restaurant!Ingredients: • Fresh Clams• 1 can of sweet corn• 1 lb. of red-skin potatoes (quartered)• 2 cups of diced celery• 1 small head of cauliflower• ½ cup of diced white onion• 2 green onions diced• 25-30 garlic cloves (diced) • 1½ cups of half-n-half or light cream• Small brown whole mushrooms (optional)• 4 slices of turkey bacon• 3 tablespoons of butterDirections: Sautée onions, garlic, turkey bacon with 3 tablespoons of butter (or olive oil or coconut oil) while bringing clams to boil.Drain clams removing the sand but keeping the juice (broth).Add the broth to a new pot. Add the sautéed vegetables and then add the corn and cauliflower (bring to boil).Pick the clams out of their shell and chop the clams up finely. After vegetables in pot boil, decrease heat to low and add the diced clams. Stir occasionally while cooking for an hour. Enjoy!

It looks yummy. I grew up on stuffed quahogs, clams and flounder. The ONLY seafood I eat today is , cod, haddock and scallops. Yeh, my dad would give us a bucket then tell us"go get supper". That was back when you did not need a permit to get clams and there was no limit to how much.

No better time to shit or get off the pot......if it's that good, doing other folks a disservice by not opening a restaurant...

MartyKinn
Agreed. But make sure to open it in OKC. A state full of patriots.

ZooT_aLLures - Not a disservice to others, but just a choice of the route our Heavenly Father above wants to take me on.
