Well, I must have struck a nerve by calling the VA OIG & my congressman. Community Care called about 1900 last evening & a very apologetic young man reported that my surgery was just approved & I should hear from specialist soon. He wished me well & actually said God bless sir when I thanked him.
Finally found someone in Dallas VA who cares.
