So long ago. I remember going to Woolworth with my grandma. Remember the lunch counter. Spent my 10 cent allowance on a cheap perfume that came in a little blue bottle. Maybe why I never spent money on perfume as an adult. Whewww.

oldmarinesgt5 I remember the airplanes. Also, the little rings that would turn your finger black where it rubbed. Always something to spend our nickels, dimes and quarters on.

tambourinegirl A nickel, dime, or quarter back in my day was big money. A quarter would get you into the Saturday morning movie, a candy bar or popcorn & a soda water. Nickel would get you a candy bar, or a soda water, or a phone call. But them quarters were few and far between.
