FALSE INFORMATION! This claim is false; the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) currently only operates one electric fire truck, not 45, and it does not need to return to the station for 10 hours a day to recharge; the electric fire truck has a backup generator for extended operations and is designed to handle most fire calls with its battery capacity alone!
