"Landlords in fire-ravaged Los Angeles have jacked up rents — in some cases by more than double the price — in violation of California law against price gouging as thousands of residents seek shelter. By law, landlords are not permitted to raise the price of housing by more than 10% after a state of emergency has been declared..."
As pleas for donations and federal aid blast across the mainstream and social media outlets, this is how Californians come to the aid of their neighbors in need? Jacking up rent prices over 100%?? With neighbors like that, who needs enemies?!
Meanwhile, people in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee still live in tents and without basic amenities after having officials deny them the charity of the Amish community that constructed tiny cabins for them. All they got from the woke-loving Biden administration was a directive to "go online" to apply for $750.
Yes, there are two worlds in the US today...and it's time the one the woke elite live in crashed down. Maybe a few months in the ashes will cultivate some common sense and humility...

Hannah_Gentile5‌ As of right now, the city of Los Angeles is fine. Also, many cities beyond there are fine as well. Majority of the fires are in the hills and moving North and East of the actual city. Any that are moving South are already past the city. Not to say that couldn't change, but so far it... View More
