    I know what they are, but I forgot what they're called. they were like innocuous firecrackers. We'd hit them with a hammer and they made a tiny explosion. AND FORGET YOU!! I'm not old! LOL!

    They were called caps and were used in capguns and yes sitting on the sidewalk with a hammer you could still make noise.
