BREAKING President-elect Trump has settled his defamation suit with ABC News and George Stephanopoulos. ABC News and Stephanopoulos have agreed to donate $15 million to a presidential foundation, the kind that presidents usually set up for their libraries, and they will also pay $1 million to Trump to cover his attorney’s fees. ABC and Stephanopolous will also issue statements of regret. Trump filed the suit after Stephanopolous interviewed Congresswoman Nancy Mace and asked her why, as a survivor of rape, she was endorsing someone who a jury had found was “liable for rape.” Since the jury had found Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation and not rape, Trump filed the lawsuit.
