Black man murders elderly White couple, ages 97 and 94, in their Meridian, Mississippi home - April 25, 2024. Zero national news stories. Zero mentions of race in local coverage. Now ask yourself what America's media and cultural landscape would look like if a White 29-year-old had done a home invasion and brutally murdered two Black nonagenarians in their 76th year of marriage. Everyone in the English-speaking world would know the names of the Black murder victims. Instead, no one knows the names Miles and Ina Herrington because they're White murder victims of a Black killer. We would have soundbites, tweets, and press releases from police chiefs, priests, rabbis, mayors, governors, congressmen, senators, the White House, Black interest groups, federal agencies, the ADL, the SPLC, and a hundred other anti-White NGOs and nonprofits condemning the “senseless slaughter of innocent bodies of color by yet another White Supremacist Domestic Terrorist™.” Instead, when yet more White Americans are horrifically snuffed out by Our Greatest Strength™, all we hear is a deafening silence signaling the system's tacit approval of this unparalleled violence committed against White people. It's sickening how obvious everything I'm saying is, yet how few human beings are willing to sound out these plain facts of reality. No matter how uncomfortable it makes you; no matter how badly you want it to not be true; it is about race. And White people are the only group: ~ Without explicit political representation ~ Without explicit legal protection, and ~ Who are explicitly targeted with adverse government, corporate, and education policies You're not “playing into their hands” by acknowledging it's about race. You're playing into their hands by pretending it's not about race every time another White person falls victim to the rampant interracial violence that's perpetrated against us at exponentially higher rates than anyone else. You're playing into their hands by pretending that you don't have a racial identity. They are the ones who took that identity away from you. You're playing into their hands until you take it back.
