In 2020 I filed the “Keep Our Schools Safe Act” which requires all schools to have trained and armed school resource officers. This would also allow retired military or police to volunteer so long as they are up to date on training. This idea arose out of speaking to some educators that would love to not only conceal carry, but to know someone has their backs and the safety of the kids in the schools as a priority. Unfortunately, the NEA and Michael Bloomberg’s Mom’s Demand Action testified against the bill. Everywhere we go in our nation, from courthouses, city halls, concerts, sports games, any event of significance has trained and armed security. Heck, most of the useless politicians in DC (yes Cori Bush I’m looking at you) has armed security. Our most vulnerable must be protected from these psychopath cowards that prey upon the innocent. It's time to stop using tragedies to earn political points like we've seen in TX with Robert "Beto" O'Rourke. Real solutions like the "Keep Our Schools Safe Act" should be implemented to ensure this never happens ever again VOTE DJT IN 20W4 TO END 2 WARS, STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, CREATE A BETTER ECONOMY...END SOCIALISM.
