    When the 1st Arab Oil Embargo began in October of 1973, gas sold for ~33 cents/gal. By the time it was over 10 months later in August of 1974, gas was selling for ~60 cents/gal. That is an increase of ~80%.

    In October of 2020, gas sold for ~$2.15/gal. 10 months later, in August of 2021, 7 months into the Slow Joe & the 'Ho take over of the US government, gas was selling for ~$4.75 a gallon. That is more than a 100% increase.

    When the 2nd Arab Oil Embargo began in November of ‘78, gas sold for ~70 cents/gal. By the time it was over in January of ‘81, gas was selling for ~$1.35/gal. That is slightly less than a 100% increase over the course of 27 months.

    When Slow Joe & the ‘Ho were sworn into office in January of ‘21, gas sold for ~$2.50/gal. 15 months later, gas was selling for ~$4.50/gal. This is an increase of just under 100%. And gas was still selling for $3.65 a gallon in April of 2023.
