    ‌I loved green peas and Black-eyed Peas as well! Beets and raw tomatoes were the bane of my existence! LOL! That said, we grew about 100 to 300 hills of tomatoes each year, in our Truck Patch Gardens, and while I hated raw tomatoes, I loved tomato sauce & ketchup!

    I learned to hate fish I had all kinds of ways to get rid of it.putting it in a napkin & stuffing it down my pants and flushing it down the toilet when I was caught doing that I would feed it to the dogs under the table until mom would smell their breath.

    hHehehehe. The only seafood I eat now is scallops, haddock or cod. I've eaten pretty much everything else, except squid. When you grow up eating it day after day , you get sick of it.

    ‌We ate a lot of junk as kids. But potted meat and crackers, Vienna Sausages, or peanuts and an RC Cola or 6 oz Coke were drank at time as well. That said, we always had Sweet Iced Tea made up!

    My favorite fish on this chart is Grouper! Trigger Fish, though not on the chart is really good too. Flounder is another one I like a lot! Snapper is good, but you got to know how to eat it... avoid the dark meat, unless you like strong fishy taste! Mahi-Mahi is really good too.

    Yep so with me ! I cook my pizza and then put it in the refrig until tommorrow to eat it! The Tomatos release a hormone that not only tastes good, but is more nutritious... one of the few foods that do that after being cooked!!! [ ]

    On my dad's way home from work on Fridays, he'd stop at McDonald's and get 2 dozen hamburgers for our supper. Yup back then burgers were 10cents each on Friday. My mom wouldn't have to cook.

    Mickey D's was good, but I truly loved Burger Chef Restaurants we had around here! That said, mom's and granny's hamburgers were really, way better than any chain restaurant's burger. We ate most of them on plain white bread, and burger buns were for special occasions! LOL!

    ‌Back in the early 70's Burger Chef was Mickey D's chief rival, at least in my neck of the woods! "Have it Your Way!" was one of their motto's! LOL! At least I think it was... 55 years has a way of influencing your memories! LOL!
