I am told that there is something controversial about this: Some diners at a restaurant refused to leave a tip because the waiter was a homosexual. It seems to me that if I give out extra money to people, it's MY goddamn choice as to who gets it. I might refuse to give you free money just because I don't like the clothes you're wearing.
