This is not unlike Divorce Court. The Democrats are the wife & mother. The Republicans are the husband & father. No matter what she did or does, the wife will be awarded alimony. The husband will be viewed as a loser & a leech if he made less than his wife.

The mother will get the kids & their child support, even if she has a criminal record, psych history, or substance abuse problem. And he will be portrayed as a deadbeat dad if he tries to get custody of the kids.
