I stopped watching NFL soon as the asshole took the first knee. Then one by one, I gave up National sports all together except for Military Academy Football, UFC and MMA. No one took a knee in protest there so far.

My father never like professional Football, he said the players only cared about their pay and not the play or the fans. He preferred College cause he said they played to win and for the fans. My brother hasn't watched the NFL in about 4 years now.
