‌That it is. You should see it at night with a full moon glistening off those rapids. Magical.

I pulled a wheel/tire out of that river about 25 years ago! Boy how memories come back at the strangest times. A truck driver lost a trailer wheel around 11pm, and called my father's emergency road service to have his spare put on. He said he thought the wheel had gone into the river. He was almo... View More

‌ Driven that hwy many times. Can't believe you went into that freezing water. You are one lucky dude! And it sounds like you went above and beyond. I have family in Kamiah. Driving around Lewiston/Clarkston is interesting. If you pay attention to license plates, you'll notice a lot of vehicles have personalized plates. Patriots in northern Idaho know their constitutional rights, and don't register their vehicles or have driver's licenses.

Some of those same people don't take any crap from the irs, either. The don't have "businesses" or "companies", they do "volunteer work" for donations, and irs agents leave them alone.

‌Haven't been to Kamiah but have been gone to Cottonwood St Gertrude's Monastery on weekend retreats with a friend. Your right, small town and conservative way of thinking. Just go to Clarkston once in awhile with granddaughter to shop at Costco. Use have to work down there back in l... View More
