    I was walking on my main street a few years ago and an elderly veteran was saying he didn't even recognize his own country. How sad for him to fight in a war for America to see what's happened to it.

    HighHeels ‌On vacation a few years back in London an old fella remarked upon my London accent and commented that it was wonderful to hear a Londoner as there were so few left in Britain's capital, didn't have the heart to tell him I emigrated decades ago for a better life/wife.

    London is a disaster now. It was on my bucket list along with Sweden but not anymore.

    HighHeels ‌Been to Sweden and the Swedes are a miserable lot, London has fallen. Once enjoyed a marvelous trip to NYC but wouldn't go back now. If London was on your bucket list I would heartily recommend Dublin, Ireland instead.
