The Moderna shot should have been in his military medical records. He would also need a doctor to state that the myocarditis was caused by the vax shot in order to get service connected for it.

T‌hat's where the VA can get you on a claim. No medical evidence, your claim will be denied. In this case, I believe he should claimed of claimed for myocarditis because he got that while in service and not claiming service connection for VAX.

I‌f he got myocarditis while in service, he should have medical evidence of that in his records. That should have been the reason they discharged him - being medically unfit.

It's all in how he filed the claim. He should have claimed for the Myocarditis if that what he was discharged for, not for the VAX. I did claims for DAV for 6 years, for 2 days a week, getting over 2,650 men and women service connected.

rchan287‌ I finally got some help from the VFW. Still have not gotten anything for agent orange! They have virtually put Vietnam veterans on a waitlist! Have remained close with 37 guys I served with for more than 50+ years. Only 12 of us left.

T‌hat is awesome! I was only in touch with 2 of the guys I served with. One had passed so only my friend Wayne and I are the only ones out of approximately 250 of us in Dong Tam. The base was the 9th Infantry Division headquarters but the Navy section wasn't even 10% of their size. We w... View More

I just found out this Tuesday that cancer back in both my lungs (asbestos) have beaten it twice 2018 and January of this year. PET Scan on 03 October. Have lost a lot of ground this past year but still... View More

J‌ust make sure you see your doctor at least 2-4 times a year to maintain your service connection. In the eyes of the VA, if you haven't been to the doctor in 2 years for your service connecteddisability, there is nothing wrong with you and your disability payment will get reduced.

rchan287‌I see my VA primary and eyes and pulmonary a couple times a year. But the doctors I trust are the ones I see regularly! Primary every 3 months — pulmonary every 6 months - urologist every 6 months - eyes every 4 months all private sector and they are the only ones that have ever helped me!... View More
