    Getting ready for work turned on TV just in time for 2nd plane to hit. I cried and screamed had to call them at work because I was going to be late.

    Frogladee I was at work across the river and saw the 2nd plane hit the tower. The entire Port of New York and New Jersey was shut down sending everyone home. The bridges were all closed and I could not get home until the next day.

    I got over it. The US government made sure that the terrorists won by doing all the wrong things, from the invasion of Afghanistan to the Patriot Act. We must never forget how the US government exploited 9/11 to restrict our rights.
