The strike against Islamic Jihad is exactly what Israel needed after the barrage fired last week, to restore deterrence against Gaza, and on that occasion also against the northern arena.
Final approval was given by defense minister and Netanyahu on Friday at noon at the Shin Bet headquarters, and since then they have been looking for the three senior members of Islamic Jihad together.
