    I‌ take gabapentin (https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-14208-8217/gabapentin-oral/gabapentin-oral/details) and it takes care of the nerve pain.The only thing that I feel with shingles, is itching and benadryl or cortisone cream takes care of that.
