    ‌ Yeah, I've heard a little bit about the Northern Border, but border crossing up north is much more difficult than the free walk at the Southern Border. Regardless, "they're" hitting us from both ends.

    Don't think the northern border is any better. It is the most unprotected border anywhere. There are crossing points that are not even manned and plenty of trails through the woods that can be used for crossing. In some ways it is much easier to cross the Northern border than the Southern.

    I‌ grew up in the Detroit area and back then it was quite easy to cross the border all you needed was a valid Driver's License and to answer a few questions. Crossed many times that way myself. The Crossing at Niagara Falls was very much the same.

    D‌etroit is about 1 mile across the river from Windsor, Ontario. a lot of boaters cross over all the time there are some small islands on the Canadian side that are party places for the boaters and get quite packed in the summer.
