@RagingDissident Canadian veteran James Topp is dropping the gloves for what will surely be a long fight with the mainstream media. Topp became a hero to freedom-lovers everywhere after he spent months walking across Canada to demand an end to the litany of coercive COVID mandates and restrictions that were in effect for much of the last two years. Unfortunately, some of those mandates still remain, including the requirement for all members of the Canadian Armed Forces to receive the COVID shot. He won the hearts and minds of the people, but in the process, drew the ire of politicians and mainstream journalists alike. Now he faces another challenge: to clear his name from the libellous stories the Media Party has published trying to discredit him. But Topp will have some reinforcements thanks to the people who helped crowdfund his legal fees. He hired first-class legal representation to take action against Global News, their parent company Corus Entertainment, and journalist Rachel Gilmore. Topp wasn't even asked for comment on the defamatory article that was written about him in August. Like so many Canadians, Topp has had enough of the mainstream media's lies and divisive rhetoric and believes it is time to stop taking this stuff lying down. He and his lawyer are fighting to have the article retracted and an apology issued.
