When your favorite restaurant goes out of business thank pedo joe.. Here is a glimpse of what restaurants are going through. Especially for the people that think we can just use cheap cuts of meat and creativity to keep costs down. It’s not about the price of meat, it’s literally the price of everything. Potatoes have gone from 14$ a case to 52$. Onions have almost doubled in price. A commercial roll of aluminum foil is now over 100$. I know people may feel like restaurants are increasing prices, but there is only so much price increase we can pass on to the customer. I can’t charge 10$ for an order of fries or people won’t buy them. Restaurants are eating a lot more of these price increases than people realize!!
