Markland Kokomo, Indiana; Speedway Gas station Date/Time of Incident: June 7, 2022 at approximately 2:42p.m. On June 7, 2022, at about 2:42pm, officers of the Kokomo Police Department were dispatched to the Speedway gas station at 1030 N. Markland street in regards to a young woman soliciting s*x in exchange for a full tank of gas. According to independent witnesses, twenty-five year old Sasha Manning of Kokomo approached an older male at gas pump #6. After a small conversation between the two, witnesses say the suspect loudly offered the older male some ‘good-good’ in exchange for a full tank of premium unleaded. When the older male didn’t know what ‘good-good’ meant he asked Ms. Manning and she made a crude gesture and replied “this {explicit} Grandpa.” The victim then made a call to dispatch and officers arrived a short time after and arrested Ms. Manning on one charge of attempted prostitution. Detectives said while they had Ms. Manning In custody they asked her why she would subject herself to this and her answer was. “That guy couldn’t have screwed me any harder than our President is right now.”
