    I believe it to be a case of poor budgeting skills (Parents? and Publik Edukation) and the desire for more toys than one can afford (blame advertizers and banks)

    A good point, we live on 2 nice SS checks which comes to about what you said, 55k- We also owe nothing except common bills, IE taxes, lights, water and so on. I thought we were doing fine until now, FJB!!!!
