13 years ago today, Johanna was murdered by an anti-semitic Columbine fanboy. The Columbine fandom is a weird case. The attackers were motivated in part by National Socialism, and even scheduled their attack to commemorate Hitler. Certain factions in the National Socialist movement do a lot of work to try to recast the killers as Romantic heroes. At the same time, since MSM coverage mostly coalesces around narratives that blame some mixture of gun access, bullying, goths, and violent video games, Columbine fanboys are not necessarily AWARE that they are following in the footsteps of National Socialists.
