Once upon a time, up in The Bronx, in New York City, there was an amusement park that commenorated & celebrated American history.

"Mommy and Daddy take my hand. Take me out to Freedom Land. Two-ninety-nine is all we'll pay. And we'll have fun all the day." $2.99 in 1961-64 was worth between $27 & $29 today. Was still a bargain compared to the $100 it costs you to get into most amusement parks today.
