After Timothy Donley completed his service in Iraq, he returned to the US. Friends remembered him as a good karaoke singer with a fondness for patriotic country songs. When he got $2000 for Christmas, he went around giving $100s to people who needed them. He worked as a doorman at a bar in Texas. Twelve years ago today, Timothy's life came to an end when he was shot by a white supremacist who had decided to celebrate Hitler's birthday with a murder spree.
