7 years ago today, Tipu Sultan was assassinated by an English Defense League thug. The crime was baffling - the killer had recruited a getaway driver under the pretense that he was going to rob the shop, and no motive has been disclosed, but it is clear from the crime that Tipu's killer had never really been interested in the robbery.
