I'm an Old School Marine, who prefers the original triangular fore stocks and solid butt stock with the trap door for storing the cleaning kit. Different strokes for different Old People. LOL I have the birdcage on order. It hasn't arrived yet.Don't ask me how it shoots. I haven't taken it out for a "ride" yet. Soon! As soon as the birdcage gets here. I've built several of these same configurations for other people and all of them raved about the long distance accuracy. This should yield the same results. It has a 24" heavy, fluted barrel, and all the working parts of the trigger group have been polished like glass.The scope is a Leatherwood, 4-16-44 "Hi Lux" sniper scope. It's a newer version of the same scope used by Marine Snipers in Vietnam. Most of the parts were purchased from Sarco Inc., a great supplier of all things military surplus.
