For those who think Russia is all the way on the other side of the world... It's only 53 miles from us at the Bering Straits' narrowest point.

Ummm I believe that's CANADA BETWEEN ALASKA AND THE USA.. And is far more than 53 miles

Bill-Mackenzie ‌Russia is across from Alaska (49th US state) so yes, 53 miles is how close the US is to Russia.
