Gas prices today $3.99 per gallon = fill up cost $80 = $240 per week = $12,480 per year. Gas prices expectation by July $6.99 per gallon = $140 per fill up = $420 per week = $21,840 per year. Average income in Alabama @ $22/HR (many earn way less) = $880 per week = $45,760 per year before tax and $27,456 after tax. $27,456 - $21,840 = $5,616. So after you buy your gas it will leave you with $5,616 per year in your pocket = $468 per month. $468 per month to pay your rent/mortgage, insurance, utilities, food, etc. Welcome to "build bigger and better"!!!
