26 years ago today, a future cop killer murdered Paolo Vecchiolini. The killer's motive? He was a neo-Nazi who hated Italians. Ironically enough, the reason his region of Italy had so many Italians in it compared to Germans... was because Adolf Hitler could not bear the thought of Austrans living free from his rule, so he arranged to have them all ethnically cleansed from Alto Adige/Südtirol.
