27 years ago today, Erik Freeman was murdered by a trio of young thugs influenced by the teachings of the "Christian Identity" cult. Despite its name, Christian Identity is not exactly Christian. The thugs were, apparently, upset that their parents were interfering with their new activities. As to why an eleven year old boy would be killed by teenagers mad at their parents? Well, Erik was the cousin of one of the killers... and the kid brother of the other two.
