Arizona Legislators Aim to Penalize Recording Police
An Arizona State House committee passed a proposed bill that would make it illegal to record video within eight feet of police activity.
The proposed law has been criticised as a violation of constitutional rights, while legislators behind it claim it takes into account “officer safety”.
Under the proposed rule, violators would be charged with a petty offence and subjected to a fine.
