These instances where grown men in riot gear are beating women with batons, I always wonder why the the men in the crowd don't do anything besides vocalizing their disapproval. The protestors always outnumber the government goons. A single pissed off man who starts fighting back could be the spark that inspires several other men to say "fuck it, enough is enough". You may be unarmed but you overtake one goon, now you're the one with the baton and whatever else the goon is armed with.
