In November 2020, illegal immigrant Heriberto Fuerte-Padilla was driving a pickup truck drunk in Houston when he struck 19-year-old Adrienne Sofia Exum’s car and killed her. He tried to flee the scene but was caught by police. The number of illegal immigrants pouring into the US soared even as the number of ICE deportations of criminal aliens was slashed by 90%. The Biden Administration claims there’s not enough money to pay for the huge number of deportation procedures (hint: that’s why you shouldn’t leave the border wide open, geniuses.) Now, only those deemed national security risks, recent illegal entrants or a public safety risk qualify for deportation. So guess who’s no longer facing deportation: Heriberto Fuerte-Pedilla. His crime apparently isn’t “important” enough to deport him. I’ll remind you again: his crime was driving drunk and fleeing police after killing an innocent American citizen with her whole life ahead of her. Is that not enough of a “public safety risk?” This is why Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Montana and Ohio are all in federal court to force the feds to do their job. And speaking of the feds not doing their job on the border, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said there’s no doubt a connection between skyrocketing crime and drug abuse and the fact that this Administration is letting millions of people swarm into the US from 120 nations, some of them known to harbor terrorists.
