    I was once a beach bum for some years back from 1959 to 1970, Parents had a cottage on Lake Erie in Canada. 40 foot cliff down to the water. I had a blast.

    ‌I love the water. I've been to Lake Nippissing (sp) in Canada, Niagra, most of the Great Lakes, Gulf Coast all the way around and the Pacific Ocean by LA and the ocean surrounding Hawaii. Life's been pretty ok. No real lakes in Tx though..

    ‌Yep, we are land lubbers here in TX. The thing I enjoyed the most was walking the beach seeing everything washed up on shore. I've seen some pretty strange things. Mostly odd looking fish. I miss smelt fishing in the spring.
