I'll never be a lawyer or a judge. I work with technology and the physical laws governing electricity do not bend into pretzels like civil laws. It's a good thing too because you want 220 volts of ac current to act the same 24/7/365. If we applied modern lawyer logic to electronics, nothing would work because the wires would determine their own genders and explode into sparks and melt.
