Just left my local (Ottawa, IL.) McDonald's and of course... they screwed up my order. It's a real problem, but their "hire the handicapped" policy also extends to management. The helmet-wearers are taking over!

    I agree, the derogatory term for special needs people is very disrespectful and in this day and age when it is difficult to find anyone who wants to work I commend those with special needs for stepping up to the plate to do the right thing and contribute to society instead of sucking from it.

    This has nothing to do with political correctness. It’s disrespectful to refer to people with special needs as retarded. I’m not a snowflake. What if I have a child that is special needs? Your words have consequences. Just show respect for people and be kind.
