Today marks the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. We observe this day to honor the 2,403 Americans who lost their lives in the attack.This and every December 7th, we memorialize the men and women we lost and honor their status as fearless heroes.As long as America is the land of the free, we will remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice at Pearl Harbor.Pearl Harbor Remembrance DayThe Pacific Fleet, headquartered at Pearl Harbor since 1907, remains active at the base and projects American strength in the region.
